Electro-Optical Sciences, Inc. (EOS) is committed to the development of innovative diagnostic imaging systems for the early detection of cancers and other tissue diseases. Our systems employ proprietary light-based computer vision technology for non-invasive, reliable, automatic and instantaneous diagnosis.
Our computer vision systems can extract image information that is not available to human vision, quantify it, and objectively determine the likelihood that an imaged lesion is a cancer. They detect tissue disease in its early stages, when minimally invasive treatment assures a complete cure. It takes only a few hours to train physicians and nurses in the use of our systems.
Our compact and portable computer vision systems consist of sensor hardware that creates digital images of tissue in vivo with various wavelengths of light, and expert software that automatically processes these images to provide diagnostic information in a user-friendly format.
The potential of our enabling technology for providing innovative solutions to substantial healthcare markets has been demonstrated through our first two clinical products: MelaFind®, a non-invasive and automatic early melanoma detection system, and DIFOTI®, a non-invasive early tooth decay detection system.
